RICOH IMAGING was kind enough to give me the new Theta V 360° Camera to
test and shoot with.
I had previous experience with the Theta S and was interested to see how much of a diffrence the 4k resolution would make. And after a few test shots and examining the footage on my computer I
gotta say...
DAMN.
4K makes a huge diffrence in 360° video. The video footage looks sharp, the white balance and colors look accurate and the video files have enough dynamic range to even do some light color
grading in post.
I will further test this camera to see what I will use it for and report back in another blog post.
